Mt. Horeb Joint Fire District & Emergency Medical Service
“Proudly protects 13,000 people living in an area of 132 square miles” and operates out of 1 station that is located at: 120 South 1st Street, Mt. Horeb, WI.
Jenny Minter serves as the Fire Chief.

Black Earth Fire Department
An all-volunteer Fire Department, with 36 volunteers, that operates out of 1 station that is located at: 711 Blue Mounds Street, Black Earth WI 53515. The department serves 6,000 people living in an area of 96 square miles. The area covered includes the Village of Black Earth and four area Townships.
Mitch Hodson serves as the Fire Chief.

Black Earth & Mazomanie – District One EMS
Serves people living in approximately 85 square miles in northwest Dane County. District One EMS members are “trained to the highest basic level of the Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician”.
